abilities: - black is really powerful. like really, really powerful. like "clear the fog, effortlessly shove people and rocks around, shove the great collapse into motion when it gets stopped" powerful. thanks king of despair. - pyrokinesis? maybe? blue flames that aren't just for show. they can explode and do a lot of damage, and they appear and disappear without any hassle. - the macbeth family seems to have some knowledge of life magic, seeing as they infused their own lives into the barrier (and, in order to keep their daughter alive, made her a living barrier to save her). this is pretty forbidden. black knows enough to be able to repair the barrier the king of despair destroyed (mary macbeth) and probably knows how to keep people alive using a magic conduit similar to the way his parents did to his sister. personality stuff: -kod really doesnt give a flying fuck -he wants to die bc he thinks dying during another collapse will help him see that light again (its his hope, his freedom from immortality, gives him that sense of joy/exaltation that his wishes will come true) -he's also 100% in love/captivated by the determination humanity expresses, that shines through even the darkest of nights -this is why he can't call humanity idiots or pity them. they're too innocent... i hate him
