A bold Minccino who fusses over Black, despite his best efforts to dissuade her. He actually really needs the fussing; if he didn't have her, he'd be back to eating snacks and quick meals while working instead of actually taking time to make a decent dinner... among other thing. He's a neat guy, but she manages to keep his place perfectly spotless. She's named after his dead sister, Mary Macbeth.

Fionn ♂
A timid Meowstic who actually becomes rather talkative (or picturative, actually) when holding a telepathic conversation with someone. Otherwise, he tends to cling to Black's leg and avoid making eye contact with anything but the ground or his trainer. He's named after a famed magician/warrior/poet from Scottish folklore... which is funny, because male Meowstic are renowned for their support skills, while Fionn is renowned for his giant-slaying.

Sidhe ♀
A jolly Vaporeon that loves scaring people, especially on rainy days where puddles are plentiful. ...and wherever they're not plentiful, actually; she just has a lot of fun surprising people she hasn't met before. It's actually kind of troubling in a city like Hellsalem's Lot. She's named after the Gaelic name for fairies located in the Scottish Highlands; despite its spelling, it's actually pronounced shee.
